Clip Seconds from Time

Good day

I have made a very basic chart to record the daily Insulin requirement against blood readings, this has to be done three times a day, just before and 2 hours after meals, and just before bed time. The problem I am stuck on is the time readings when entered they show up as 06:45:00am or what ever the time may be. I need to clip the 00 of the end but can not achieve this. All the column rows with time are formulated as time. I am probably missing the glaringly obvious and would appreciate a point in the right direction.

Hi bobhc,

it sounds like a simple formatting change is required. Just right click on the cell->format cell->number->custom then choose the h:mm format then OK and your done.

A good cup of coffee to clear away the mornings cobwebs and a few clicks to follow your directions and all is well, thanks.
