checking values of a row

Hi all,

I want to check a row values and then if two continues cells have a certain predefined values my condition get true value.

i.e:
I have a range from A1 to A5 named MyRange. if in any two continues cell of this range one cell has "A" and the next one has "B" my condition is True else False.

Something like this perhaps?
=SUMPRODUCT((A1:A5="A")*(A2:A6="B"))>0
Note that the range in the second criteria is shifted by 1.

Your formula works fine except I want that result be in just next cell after range i.e. A6 . In this way it doesn't works.

In that case, we can shorten the references to:
=SUMPRODUCT((A1:A4="A")*(A2:A5="B"))>0
and then place formula in A6.
