Hi Chandoo People,

I was reading an article on panel charts on your website. It said if you wanted to create multiple charts press ctrl d. What I don't know how to do is to put the different data from the table in
each of the charts. Your help is most appreciative. Thank you, Joe from Michigan.
 
Hi Joe ,

Whenever an embedded chart ( a chart which is on a worksheet rather than in its own sheet ) is selected , the series data range(s) are highlighted. When you press CTRL D , a duplicate chart is immediately inserted on the worksheet , and the same data range(s) will be highlighted.

Excel highlights the axis range using one colour , the data range using a second colour , the title cell(s) using a third colour and so on. This highlight is a thin coloured line. When you move the mouse over the line , the cursor will change its style with 4 directional arrows in the 4 directions , and the thin line now becomes a thick line.

You can now drag the mouse to select a different range. The chart reflects this change immediately.
