chart series color based on cell value

Can anyone help me on the attached file?

There is a certain cell that has conditional formatting which reflects red when a value is positive and green if the value is negative. I want to pass that color on a just one series on the chart. In this case the conditional formatting is on D10, and it should reflect the color to series H.

It could be quite convoluted to do this:
http://datapigtechnologies.com/blog...rt-series-colors-to-match-source-cell-colors/
http://peltiertech.com/conditional-formatting-of-excel-charts/

But before I send you down that route, since your conditional formatting is based on negative/positive only there may be another solution; there is an option in Excel charts to 'invert if negative' which lets you choose the 2 colours to show. However, when I tried this on your chart it didn't work, which surprised me, so I tried with a fresh chart and it DID work. See attached with circles highlighting that (I did alter one value from negative to positive - cell D9, just to show that it was working). You can reach the dialogue box which allows this by right-clicking on a series in the chart, choosing Format Data Series… and highlighting the Fill section.
So I don't know why it's not working on your chart!

Do you think this approach will do what you need?

That's absolutely what I need! However, I tried it on my original file and I can't make it to work! haha.

So start afresh reconstructing your chart and put the invert-if-negative thing in early and see where ti stops working (if it stops working).
