Hi,
I am trying to chart the following data (without using a pivot chart, although I am showing a pivot chart below for demonstration) and I am having problems because of the "rsSeries" column. I want the X axis to be rsDate, rsAmount to be plotted by rsSeries and rsDate. Is this possible without adjusting my data layout?

rsDate rsSeries rsTDTE rsLevel rsAmount

In short, no. With your current layout, you would need to either use formulas to re-arrange the data, or use the PivotChart as you've already got it.

Now, if you want to change the layout quickly, you could throw the info into a PivotTable, and it will generate this layout

You could copy this out of the Report, and paste is somewhere, and then create a regular chart from this, as this is the correct layout for your chart.

Thanks Luke, I thought that may be the case, but you never know as there are usually so many ways to solve a problem.
