Changing language in Excel

Wilco()

Wonder why MS did this; translate functions in different languages.

It gives me the problem that for every function I want to use, I have to translate it into Dutch.
So I want to change the language to English. Is there a way to do this? Or is it bad luck and I have to reinstall it with the English Language?

Hi, Wilco()!

I'm bad news, so as the author of the 1st topic posted by ThrottleWorks and being involved writing in the 2nd topic, I should say that you have 2 options:
a) Uninstall you actual Excel or Office version and install a Dutch version.
b) Buy the Ducth Language Pack for your exact Office Version (20xx, 32 or 64 bits), install it and then from File, Options, Languages, select which version do you want, apply and restart the application.

Never used it thoroughly, just for testing purposes, it seems to work fine but I don't know when referencing object libraries in other languages different from the standard installed ones and English, so it's up to you and check it carefully.

Regards!
