Changing default text colors in Excel 2010

I have a worksheet with data entered and appears in default font color-black. I am now going to make some changes that I would like to identify with a different font color but not take the time to change each cell color as I input.

Is there a way to change the default "font" color so all new inputs from that point are in red but previous entries stay black?

Hi petique23,

I think NO..

* Set COLOR is property of CELL.. so for each cell you can assign any color.

* Set default color is part of SHEET..

but set a format > then work > again set New Format > and only next input are with that format.. is mixing each others property..

PS: Why not WORD, if you prefer some fancy visual only...

PPS: saying "NO" in EXCEL.. is a myth.. and hope someone will prove this.. :)

Regards,

Deb
