Change in Cell fill color while pasting data

Hi,

This is not a problem, just an observation but might create problem in future.

I am taking screen shot of a particular file and pasting the screeen shot and the header in another file.

Problem is, File 1 Cell N3 is fill with red color, when I take the screen shot even then the red color is visible but when I copy cell N3 and paste it in file 2 the cell fill color turns to blue !

Has anyone faced such condition before ?

I'm not na expert in these type of situation, but I believe you may have diferente color palettes in each of the workbooks youre working with.

What I mean is (and it happened to me before working with workbooks sent from diferente companies), what excel recognizes as red in your workbook may be indexed as blue in the other one.

There's a way, I think, to copy color palettes from a workbook to another workbook, so colors will work the same in both.
Google around with these keywords (color palette and such) and I believe you'll find what's happening there.

PS - One more thing, interior color of file 1 is 230 and file 2 is 8210719.

You could do what nunes suggested or recolour after paste.

ActiveCell.Interior.Color = RGB(255,0,0) 'Red
