Change colour of bar charts based on values

Hi, you all

I'm trying to get a conditional formatting for a bar chart. Let's say I have 3 companies with values 0.5, 1.6 and -2.8 respectively.

I'd want to apply different colours to the resulting bars on a chart depending on the values that for me are statistically significant, in this case any value greater than 1.5 should be green, any lesser than -1.5 should be red and finally any value between -1.5 and 1.5 should be grey.

I don't know how to do this. I'm not afraid of VBA so if you have a solution with code I'm up to try it :)

Thanks, people!

Thanks, Debraj, but since I want ranges of values instead than absolute values, I'm not sure how to apply it to what I need.

Sure!

The you have. What I want is that bars change colour based on values from the cells below the chart.
