Hi Folks,


can some tell me,


if i want to use the formula in cell text then i can or can't

like if i have a value in cell

cell(A1)value= "Nipendra is a teacher"

and i want to perform on the "teacher" value then ? is it possible by the excel formulas not by the vba i want to use the excel formula only????

quest. is if have i have a cell and cell value is "nipendra is teacher" and i want to work only on "teacher" text then ? is this possible with excel formula or not,


like if some cells have "teacher" text then some action will perform?

First , can you specify what you want to do if any cell contains some wanted text value ? Finidng out if any text e.g. "teacher" ( without the quotes ) is present in a cell is possible using the FIND or SEARCH function. What do you want to do after finding out if a cell has the wanted text string ?
