Cell reference to the right

Hello, need ur help AGAIN!!!! If I have a list of numbers in column A1:A10 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and in the next column (B1:B10) I have A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J. If I type in cell D3 '4', then I want to appear in D4 'D'. I have tried using the match and column formulas but to no great success. Thank you in advance.
