Can't connect Pivot Charts on Dashboard with one slicer

I have a workbook with a data worksheet (an Excel table), and then 4 worksheets that each have a pivot table and a pivot chart. I created a dashboard worksheet where I've copied the 4 pivot charts. I put a slicer on the first one and now I want to make that slicer connect to the other 3. So when you work the slicer (on Customer) it should dynamically affect all pivot charts on the dashboard. But when I bring up the Report Connections... I only see two pivots listed with checkboxes, not all four. My file is attached. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Nebu: thank you very much for fixing the problem. I need to show/demo this dashboard to some other people where I work, so I need to be able to understand how you fixed the problem. Can you tell me what you did to fix it?

Hi ,

The basic thing to know about slicer connections is that a slicer can connect to more than one pivot table only if these pivot tables share a common pivot cache.

If two pivot tables have two pivot caches , then a slicer cannot connect to both of them.

Debra Dalgleish has a macro by which you can ensure that all the pivot tables share a common pivot cache ; the link is :

http://www.contextures.com/xlPivot11.html

I copied that macro into your file , ran it , and all the pivot tables are now connected to one slicer ; see your file.
