Cannot copy/paste code from internet

I've looked around and I can't find anything to give me a clue of why when I copy code from in a certain format (I think it's from Wordpress' Code Snippet) it loses all formatting (including line returns). I've attempted using the VBA Editor, Notepad, Word . . . all fails.

Add-in's/other programs are not an option - I'm uber-clamped down on my work computer.

I took a look at how it's being pasted in Word (Options, Advance) - plain text! (which leads to spagetti) Once I changed to the Word defaults, it's now behaving; it loses indentation, but that's window dressing.

So, I can copy into Word, but Outlook is still garbage; oh well.
