Can't remember how to get a Dynamic sum from list.

Here is what im trying to figure out.


"PP (3)" is a drop down list.

Once "PP (3)" is changed to "PP (5)" the formula under Total will sum PP (1) to PP (5).


Please help.

ID PP (1) PP (2) PP (3) PP (4) PP (5) Total


1 $1.00 $1.00 $1.00 $1.00 $1.00 3.00

Could do:

=SUM(B3:INDEX(B3:F3,MATCH(A1,B2:F2,0)))

Where A1 is the cell with "PP (3)", B2:F2 is your header row, and B3:F3 is the possible range to sum.
