Calculation of YTD numbers

Hello Experts

Hope everyone is doing good!
i have simple query attached excel file.

i have a combo box and when i change month i wanted in YTD cell to poplulate some of months amount.

for example if i select Feb... i wanted jan and feb amount to sumup and show as ytd number...Hope my question is clear.

What if for this situation?

I'd be inclined to use @Chihiro approach - Offset and Match - my technique relies on named ranges and the dropdown date doesn't work for that when you're using a proper date ....

OK - I manged to get it to work by forcing the dates into labels - my range name technique does not like the way the cells are named when the dates are proper excel dates ....
