Calculating weighted averages in non-adjacent data

Hello,

I hope I came to the right place for tips on doing calculations. I need to calculate the weighted averages of some data and the data is not in adjacent cells. I know I can use the sumproduct formula but it is causing my spreadsheet to bloat by taking the data points and arranging them together.

Does anyone have a better plan or combination of formulas to use?

Thanks in advance!

Tony

Hi, Tony1968!
Your uploaded workbook has only values, not any formula. I happened to guess that row 8 is the sum of rows 5:7, but I don't know what is data in rows 4 & 8. And despite of this, upon which values do you want to calculate the weighted average?
Regards!

I actually figured it out, sumproduct wouldn't work and maintain the integrity of the work sheet so I had to do it like this: ((values*volume))/(volume) and it worked all the way through. Thanks for responding it means a lot.

Hi, Tony1968!
Maybe you want to share your solution with the community, so as people who read this would have the issue or question and the solution or answer as well.
