Calculated field from an Average Column in a PT

Hi -

I have used the average feature in a PT to take an average from years 2012-2014. How do I now take the difference from 3 (2012,2013,2014) averages? Can I do that from within a PT? Using the "show values as" "difference of" doesn't allow me to select the differences of the averages. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I think you need to first make the field an Average, and then ask it to do the calculation of "Difference From".

See attached for an example.

Luke - I've taken the YoY % Change of the averages and expressed them as percentages. Do you know why conditional formatting on this column wont work?

First guess would be to check how the CF is setup, make sure it's correct. What type of formula/CF condition are you using? Could also double-check data integrity by writing a formula like:
=ISNUMBER(C2)
just to double check that that data is in number format, and didn't get converted to text (somehow...odder things have happened)
