Dear Sir

Request you to please help me in this. I want to protect the data automatically once I entered

Example: i need to put back dated data modification protection control. it has to be allow =today()<1 day or until i change the date D2

If once I enter the date and issue quantity. I can modify with in the same date any number of times.
And It’s not to be allowed or modify the issue date and issue quantity once back dated or until I change the to date D2 cell date.

here with i am attaching for your easy understating.

Here You are ... the 1st version.
But ... 'until I change the to date D2 cell date' ... which is =TODAY()
anyway after that all 'Issue Dates' can modify as long as rules will prevent that.

Dear Sir,

Sorry for duplicate post.

i downloaded the file. what i mean to say i was already entered the dates and issue quantity.

when i go to the change the TO DATE. if i put the date 30-Jan-2017. i want to modify with in the dates only it has to be allow the cell

30-Jan -2017 after cell rows or columns not to allow for any modifications

Dear sir,

in the sheet Todate : what i was mentioned the date with in the range of date data cells only i have to modify.

remaining data cells auto protect mode i need

Rajendar - yes! It works so!
Did You even edit those dates?
After that 'too old dates including rows' cannot edit any more!
BUT, as You wished,
after 'I change the to date D2 cell date',
modifying is possible.
That procedure makes all cells possible to modify,
until You will edit dates like 'too old'.
That file has left to that situation,
You should modify dates ... and after that 'so called protection will work'.
As You wrote.
... what is missing?

Dear Sir,

Please see the attachment now i put the TODATE is 29/jan/2017.

highlighted cells are in yellow after the 29/jan/2017 its allowing to modify from from A4:A8,K4:K9 . its not to be allow to modify the cells until i change the to date.

Rajendar - It works just as You wanted reread Your #1 and my #7
after 'I change the to date D2 cell date',
modifying is possible.

And as I also wrote:
That procedure makes all cells possible to modify
As I have two times tried to ask, when/how to stop those 'possible to modify'?
You couldn't answer - not yet!
So far, after D2-change You have to edit ALL dates (activate and press enter) with ALL dates which you would like to 'protect'.
... I just notice that You changed the original case ..?
I can modify code that if is challenge to modify 'old rows' not just dates as You wanted in #1.

I'm sending back same file.
I just did as I wrote above ... activating some A-column dates and pressed Enter
... do that date-column work now as You ... have had image.
