Automatically check if multiple file links are working

I would like to have a macro that will check to see if multiple file links are working correctly. I have an excel sheet with up 50 links to seperate files and sometimes the file names get changed and it breaks the link. It is much too time consuming to go through and click on each link to see if it works. Does anyone know macro code to do this?
