Autofilter and sum total cost in visible cells

Hi Guys,

I have a sample data and want to prepare a summary out of it. For this I need to add a filter to the data and separately count the number of items in each category alongwith the total cost.

Please find data sheet attached. I have filled the summary sheet manually for your reference.

I have added a button to the summary sheet please give life to it.

The problem I have shared here is a part of something big. So for this I need a VBA solution which I can incorporate in to my original solution.

Hi Ali,
Other than VBA, I think Pivot is also a good option for this type of requirement.
