Hello everyone,
I recently started an internship at a large corporation where Excel help is surprisingly hard to come by, so I have resorted to forums.
Basically, my group has asked me to create a worksheet that includes various details regarding thousands of import/export licenses. Each of these licenses has an expiration date, and thus must be renewed every few years. However, with so many licenses on file, it's extremely hard for anyone to check the expiration date for every single license on a regular basis in order to determine if it's time to start the renewal process. The worksheet itself is nearly completed, and all of the expiration dates are in one column. My question is this:
Is there any way (existing function/code?) I can make Excel automatically generate an Outlook email or notification to be sent to a specific group address a set amount of time before the expiration date? Apparently, the renewal process is relatively lengthy/unpredictable, so they asked that I determine a way to auto-generate this email/notification 4 months prior to the expiration date, and then have it repeat for one week. Is any or all of this possible?
Any advice is more than welcome, and thanks in advance for all of your help!
