Arranging Pictures

Hi

I have a menu sheet which has a few pictures in it, which I need to arrange evenly on a page. They should all be a similar size in a 5x5 format - has anyone got some code which can do this?

Appreciate the help.

Thanks
Colin

Hi,

To set the 5x5 format, you can select all images (either by holding down CTRL when selecting each one or by using the object selection "tool" (see below) and selecting all at once (similar to what you would do in a folder or in the desktop for multiple files). When all are selected, just set the size you want as you would normally do for 1 image and it will apply to all.

As for arranging them evenly, I suggest making use of the grid in the sheet... by holding Alt while moving the image around in the sheet, it will snap to the closest intersection between cells. This makes it very easy to make it even across the sheet.

You can also use the alignment tool:

Hope this helps

HI PCosta

Thanks for that :)

The bit I find the most fiddly is the snap to options - they never seem to snap to!! don't know if I am doing something wrong but it doesn't seem very precise and the pictures don't always quite line up....

Not to worry.

Thanks again
Colin
