J Jai9 New Member Aug 3, 2012 #2 Hi, You can go to Conditional formatting -> Manage rules. You will find your rule and the range it applies to. You can change this range so that the rule will be available for new data as well if you add more. Jai

K kaushik03 Member Aug 3, 2012 #3 Hi paramnayak... To get this doe, you need to adjust the $ sign at "applies to" section of CF dialogue box.I will try to explain this as follows: I assume your data is arranged as follows from A1 to C5: AA 25 20 BB 20 28 CC 18 15 DD 40 38 EE 22 15 Say you want to apply conditional formating at column A as follows: If a value at col B > the corresponding value at col C, then the corresponding value at col A should be filled with red To do that: 1)Select A1 2)Go to Home>conditional formating >'slect use a formula to determine which cell to format' 3)Now write =$B1>$C1 3)Hit Format button to fill it with red and hit OK Now the part which you are interested in: 4)Go back to CF dialgue box and hit 'manage rule' 5)At 'applies to' section you change $A$1 to $A:$A.....This will apply the rule in all the rows of column A Hope this helps.. Regards, Kaushik
