Anybody can help fix the countifs formula?

I wanna use formula to count how many renovation works is conducting daily, the counting is based on 3 criteria

1) column B is showed "Fit Out Period"
2) The start date is >= date at row 5
3) The end date is <= date at row 5

My draft formula is at cell "E54", could anybody help me to fix it? I do not know what's wrong on my formula.

=COUNTIFS($B$6:$B$53,"Fit Out Period",$C$6:$C$53,"<="&E$5,$D$6:$D$53,">="&E$5)
