Hi All

First time poster so thanks in advance for your help

I have an excel file that where I filter columns. In the below file I want to filter by tag but I want the two columns in yellow to always show up. Is this possible?

I have tried to lock the columns and also to freeze panes but neither works.

Thanks again for the help

In addition to Logit's comment, it would be very helpful if you mocked up a solution based upon your sample. In this manner, we would be able to specifically address your needs.

I don't have a solution. I'm trying to filter the columns at the moment and the rows in blue I am trying to ensure that they remain seen even with a filter

I don't have a solution
We know you don't have a solution, but what I am asking is to mock up what you want your results to look like. Do this manually so we don't have to guess at what you want your data to look like. Once we know what we are looking for, then it will allow us to provide you with solutions that meet your needs/desires.

This requires an up to date version of 365.
Code:
= PIVOTBY(yearQuarter, tag, amount, SUM,,,,0)
