Allow only one checkbox to be selected at a time

Hi

Is there any way to allow only one checkbox to be selected at a time? I have 3 checkboxes for 3 names (AA, BB, CC) and I need to enable the user to select only one at a time. If AA is selected, then BB and CC should be automatically cleared.

Thanks very much in advance!

Thanks Luke, you are a star!

If i can be a little more painful, is there any way to link the text / name of the option box to a cell please?

I have a dynamic list which displays top three names sorted according to the values, and I then use this for graphs. So if the option button name can be linked to make it dynamic, it would be perfect! I am currently linking a cell to the name and placing the option button next to the cell, but this is causing errors when ever i want to make any cosmetic changes to the dashboard.

Thanks again!

Sort of. The output from the option button is a number indicating the relative position of the option button (eg, 1-3). If you have a list of the names/items that you want, the formula to display the name of the item chosen is:

=INDEX(ListOfNames,LinkedCell)

ListOfNames: Range where the names/items are at

LinkedCell: The cell you linked the option buttons to
