Adding up ticked and unticked boxes in excel

Hi,

I would like to be able add up how many boxes have been ticked (or not) in each column on the attached spreadsheet. I can then add the results to a table and create a pivot table from the results to then create a chart for a dashboard. I know you can link each cell to create a true or false column but if you have lots of columns and lots of cells this could take forever as you don't seem to be able to copy down.

Does anyone have a solution? I hope this makes sense!!

Thanks a lot.

The tick boxes need linking to their underlying cells, then you can count TRUE.
Hi AliGW - thanks for getting back to me. Is there a quick way of doing this as I have five columns in my spreadsheet and 20 rows at the moment but would like to expand it to more rows. Link each cell would take ages as you don't seem to be able to copy down.

I don't think so - one at a time, I'm afraid, unless there's a VBA routine that someone can write for you.
