adding heading info

Hi
trying to do a macro to add heading info to a column in the left of the main information
please see attached and note the highlighted item which i did manually
but i need VBA to do this automatically since im needing this for a few hundred records

Is there any clear logic?
Seems that cells A2 & B2 are same, but other 'yellow cells' has different values.
How eg from ( cell B6) BBB-234 comes ( cells A3 ) ABC-124?

Now, all A-column cells (except header) are same.
How to know, how many ABC-123 should be there?
... or do You mark those as yellow in B-column?

column b has the heading (item number) and column d is null there and the rows below that have some details for that item number
column a is empty (i just did the first 2 items manually) i want column a to be filled with the appropriate item number
1 clue that might help is that the item number which is showing in column b has column d empty
