3D Column Chart with individual blocks

Hi all!

I've been trying to wrap my head around how to do this for the past 2 days but still can't quite figure it out.

I'm trying to put together a graph that looks like this: http://www.robertbryce.com/images/slideshow/power13b.jpg

Ideally, I would be able to graph it as a column chart, specifying the underlying unit (ie: 1 block equals 1 unit) and divide it along that unit.

Any suggestions???

Thanks!

Hi gpnm,

Welcome to the Forums!!!

You can easily do this using the 3D Column Chart with 2 Series look at this:

I am not sure regarding the exact appearance of block within each column.

Hi Faseeh ,

I think you have not looked at the specimen chart carefully.

What the OP is looking for is the granular structure of the original chart , where a value of 47 is represented by approximately 5 blocks , since each block represents a value of 10 ; a value of 54000 will be represented by a skyscraper composed of 5400 blocks.

Fasseh,

Thanks for the help, but unfortunately NARAYANKA is right; my real goal is to be able to subdivide the columns into individual blocks.
