You didnt get me. Wat u have just told me, is for the date to be displayed as dd.MM.yyyy and date has to be entered in MM/dd/yyyy. But i want to make entry of the Date this way, i.e. dd.MM.yyyy

Hi I want to enter date in excel in this format dd.MM.yyyy rather than MM/dd/yyyy i.e. when we enter date in excel we use slashes as narrated above and months are entered before the days. how can we enter dates in the format as "dd.MM.yyyy"
