I do not know whether it is my PC problem or excel problem. whenever I enter the dates in the date formated coloumns, upto 12th of the month it the date is in excel format i.e. mm/dd/yy but as soon as I enter dates after 12th the dates are appearng as dd/mm/yy and no functions are working for...
when I enter date in dd/mm/yyyy format the date changes to mm/dd/yyyy upto 12th of every month. as I enter the 13/05/2013 the date does not change and remains as it is. I am not able to do grouping while doing a pivot.
can anyone explain how to correct this !
