Oh. And one more thing....is there a way to set up the version control as a cover, so that you cannot access the remainder of the spreadsheet without first going thru the steps of updating the version/timestamp procedure.

This is exactly what I've been looking for!! Thank you! Once the spreadsheet has been set up, is there a way to differentiate user access by password, or some such thing so that the 'owner' initials in column D automatically appear based on their sign-in.
