    Conditional formatting question involving referential cells

    How does one do conditional formatting involving: - The creation of a referential cell (i.e. $) and get it to accept conditional formatting in Excel 2010? I have a colleague who is trying to accomplish this without having cut and paste formatting into her 1,000 cell table.
