Useful Tool in Excel SpreadSheet to Calc EV Charging Cost & Average Ranges:

TAB1: (2030) YEAR TEMPLATE to LOG CHARGES
TAB2: (YR SUMMARY) YEARS SUMMARY
TAB3: (EV MODELS) EVs COMPARE
TAB4: (EV CALCS) EV CHARGE COST + EV CHARGE TIME + EV MILE KW & COMPARE HOUSE "existing" Elec Tariff to "EV" Elec Tariff for Potential Cost Savings.

Comprehensive Comparison within EXCEL Worksheet, see attached PHOTO below, download XLS file SIZE is 1MB, this will open & work on newer versions of Excel such as XLSX. TAB2 utilises 3D RANGE RANGE via INDIRECT MIN or AVERAGE or MAX.

Best to Download, as Browser resized: File > Create Copy > Download Copy. Then Open that.

Also on a personal note, I drive a Gen1 3008 2HDI which is fabulous, but an e-3008 is still a really new expensive car, beyond my means (At The Moment! In a few years..!), but I'm sure the Clientele, who can buy 1, will appreciate this Method to compare specs and monitor log their Charges, obviously pre App this was how to, unless you relied on your Speedo Clocks MPG AV & Range, or perhaps many will prefer not make other considersations of running costs, other then it's cheaper, well, with an EV Tariff yes, and to Drive, if you like Automatics!

To estimate Charge Costs from Your Prospective or Owned Car + Elec Tariff, you will need to know a few basic details, to get your specific details right, intially it is based on 50 KW EV, easily adjusted, Blue Boxes are COMBO-BOXES with pre defined relevant specifications:
CAR BATTERY KW (If no idea, compare same Model & Year... On AutoTrader, or Google it)
KW of CHARGER (You're currently using... ie Portable 3KW, Home Wall Charger 7KW, etc)
RANGE FROM NEW (Eg 220 miles)
RANGE CURRENT NOW FROM FULL CHARGE (Eg 150 miles)
ANNUAL MILES
DIESEL/PETROL (ICE compare) your PREVIOUS ppm, full tank miles, etc.
ELEC/GAS ANNUAL KWH CONSUMPTION (no idea look at Smart Meter wifi display, or ASK Supplier)
ELEC/GAS TARIFF PRICE £ KWH & DAY RATE (see photo below)
also 1 assuption on EV Tariff, you're not doing any heavy consumotion except EV Charging!

This XL Sheet will give you a more FORMED CONSENSUS OPINION, if it is advantageous to you, ie from Diesel to EV, and to go with EV tariff, instead of just on a whim Total Guess (yer... alright then etc.!)

CELLS in BLUE require NUMBER, generally either:
COMBO DROP DOWN BOX, will present options on Cursor (MousePad) Hovering over, left click to Activate,
or Enter Number Manually

Any suggestions, let me know! Something I've not considered? I know it is all to easy to accept information.

Especially Big Businesses & People of alledged importance tend to purposely exclude all really Pertinent information, & National + WorldWide Organisations, instead delay you with burecratic nonsence waffle to waste time & effort as a means to pacify you & deter you from asking realistic questions & making real world espectations, so after wading through all that made up ridiculous equivalents stuff, here is the clear answer (Not... NO you can't do this etc!) EV XLS FILE.

Cheers Stephan

Appreciate there is Cross Posting interest on these Forums, I Trust it means not to continously ask question if unknown, or already answered!

Anyways attached is the MENU style FILE, pretty Sleek and Stealth like! Yes it has a Macro which you're likely to be prompted, to enable Security options to open! But this is an XL Forum, so you're likely to know that already, right!

FU: FINAL UPDATE AOB: ANY OTHER BUSINESS: RE: eVED + EV TARIFF

Hello attached files of EV CALC: of CHARGE COST, TIME, PPM &... MILES KW

2 File Type:.

EV CARS:
Excel workbook > Conventional XLS. MOBILE / TABLET / LAPTOP friendly.

EV CARS + Menu Screen:
Excel workbook + START menu screen + TAB Back > Macro Visual Basic XLS. LAPTOP friendly + Touchscreen Menu.

Notes: Update is references to include:
eVED: UK GOV charge PPM for EVs > Year + PPM to include this factored in
EV Tariff: Night Tariff is cheaper, but bigger picture is extra paid over regular std tariff. Year + PPM

SUMMARY:

RANGE + PPM: Even with low RANGES of say 150 miles from your used car, instead of RANGE fron new 206, the PPM is significantly cheaper then Sporty Economical Diesel or Petrol, unless you use PUBLIC CHARGERS as your relied top source, if you can afford an ev, you can afford to buy charger too!

MILES KW: Even with Range of as low as 150 miles, this is 3 MILES KW from 50KW e2008, which is reasonable, considering more powerful is much heavier and larger elec motor which consumes more battery, hence MILES KW is lower then e208 or e2008, for comparison.

LAST WORDS:

RANGE, MILES KW & PPM: Many ppl are moaning their e208 or e2008 cars are getting low RANGE, which you'd presume it more expensive to run, WRONG... well or UNLESS you're relying on PUBLIC CHARGERS, then definately won't be CHEAPER!
If CHARGING @ home, it cheaper then ice DIESEL or eco PETROL.

ELEC TARIFF REGULAR: 50KW / 7KW CHARGER = 7HR 8MIN CHRG TIME x £0.239 =
CHRG COST £11.93 / RANGE 150 = PPM £0.08 + eVed (@circsa 5000miles) =
PPM £0.12

ELEC TARIFF EV NIGHT RATE: 50KW / 7KW CHARGER = 7HR 8MIN CHRG TIME x £0.07 =
CHRG COST £5.97 / RANGE 150 = PPM £0.04 +eVed (@circsa 5000miles)+Tariff Extra over regular DayTime =
PPM £0.07

EXAMPLE RELEVANT to majority of e2008 or e208, scenario SPORT, WINTER, MOTORWAY.
50W: TRACTION BATTERY > 206: NEW RANGE > 150: RANGE ACTUAL:

Real world inconvenience to ReCharge more often, well buy your own charger, & don't use Public Chargers! Obviously if need it occassional.
MILES KW = RANGE / BATTERY TRACTION:
3 MILES KW = 150MILES / 50W

3 MILES KW from 150 miles Range in an e2008, sounds low but look what powerful EVs are, see below! even those are cheaper eco to run > ice..

anyway. EV plug in > Drive > ReCharge ...

SPORTY MPV SUV MILES KW compare
for example 95KW Audi Etron has greater range due to BIG BATTERY, but higher bhp MOTOR to CAR WEIGHT lowers to MILES KW:
260 RANGE NEW / 95KW = 2.7 MILES KW in a best case scenario!
Already less then 3 MILES KW @ 150 RANGE of e2008 owners...

If driven hard, or winter, or high miles, prob lower range such as
200 RANGE / 95KW = 2.1 MILES KW
140 RANGE / 95KW = 1.5 MILES KW

Lower MILES KW, just because it is a FAST(er) CAR
.... & even with that MILES KW with EV NRG ELEC TARIFF + EVED + TARIFF EXTRA, it still cheaper to run then a DIESEL.... If you own1, no there isn't anything wrong it, as you start wondering maybe that was reason it was for sale in 1st place...

DRIVE IT! ENJOY IT.... Yes it is a FAST CAR
, that's why low RANGE & MILES KW, & will need charging more often because it's heavy with big powerful ev motor, and to compare how often you filled up your car with fuel, circa 2 to 4 times more often, then that, but who cares... & yes it is cheaper then your old petrol or diesel to run..... unless you're pratting about outside public chargers, with your radio & heater on...
