I need to calculate Total Time taken.

Avg time taken for one file is 3.5 min (i.e 3 min and 50 sec). Usually we update in excel (3.5). After completing all work we calculate how much time we spend for this activity. for this we use 3.5 * no. of file done


example: if I did 3 file then 3.5 * 3 = 10.5 but actually it should be 11.3 (11 min and 30 sec)


How to calculate this?
 
3.5 will not equal 3 mins 50 secs in Excel, it will be represented as 3 mins 30 secs.

However if i calculate for 400 files its showing (1:33:20)

i.e if time greater than 24 hours its showing again from 1. how to know exact time for all the cases.
