Dear Friend, I have enclosed herewith a text document which I want to convert in to excel in exact format. I have also tried Text to Column Method to do the same. The result of which has been also provided in an excel file enclosed herewith. It goes with out saying that the result is not satisfactory. I want better result so that I can use the excel file for further analysis. My question is : whether or not there is any way to convert the text file to an excel suitable format. Either the solution may be VBA or other formula etc. Regards,

Further, I am not sure that what will be the proper way to solve the problem. Hence, I have also submitted the thread to VBA group and as well as this group also.

Hi Somnath ,

The text file which you have uploaded seems to have been passed through Excel already , since in several places it has #NAME? strings. Do you happen to have the original text file from which ever system this report was generated ? If so , please upload that file.
