Task management pop-up even the file is closed

dear all,


now i am going to make a file where i have received post dated cheques for various purpose, what i need a pop-up at the particular "deposit date" at 10:00am, if the pop-up comes even my file is not open it will be more helpfull for me. is it possible to make a desktop alert like outlook? i can do it through outlook but actually i required some details against each cheque. please help me.

You can use Windows Scheduler

Goto Start

All Programs

Accessories

System Tools

Task Scheduler


You will need to open the file using a line like

Crogram FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice10EXCEL.EXE "C:tempTask Management.xlsm"

Change path/file name to suit your needs


Then in Task Management.xlsm

you'll need to add some code to do what you want to do in your file

You will need to save it as a *.xlsm file as it contains macro's
