How to un-nest columns in a pivot table?

I'm trying to build a pivot table to show the count of people separately for gender, geographic localization and alcohol (Yes/No), but the pivot table automatically creates only nested tables, for example, for every gender category gives all geographic localization and alcohol categories.

Upload your file (no pictures) which contains your source data and your PT. Then manually show us what you expect your result to look like.

Sounds like a normal pivot behabior.
either create more pivots or use powerpivot and write the correct Dax measure. With the latter you can create a pivot with only the counts you require without having to slide in dimensions in the row or column coordinated fields.

Thank you for your advice. I used Power Query and calculated new variables.
