HELP! Where do I put the code

Good day all

Many ask for help with VBA code or Macros and then ask where to put the code, if the code is not pasted into the right place then it will not run as required.

This link will quickly explain the different places for code.

* If Developer Tab Is not in the ribbon..

• Open Excel.
• Go to VBA Editor (press Alt + F11)
• Go to Immediate Window. ( Ctrl + G)
• Write below Code.

* How to Insert VBA code in Excel

• Go to Developer Tab > Code Group > Visual Basic
• Click Insert > Module.
• Will open a Blank Module for you.
• Write / Paste provided code in that Module

* How to Run a Macro

• Select anywhere in between the Code, Sub… End Sub
• Click Run & Run Sub or F5

* How to assign a Macro

• Insert any picture / shape.
  
• Right click the inserted picture and assign desired Macro
