When a user selects a particular stock ticker, I would like to update a hyperlink so that when the user clicks the hyperlink, they will be take to a page on Yahoo Finance with the latest news about that stock.
For example, if they select EBAY the following would happen:
1. I would have text displaying that says "Click here to see the latest press releases for EBAY."
(As the user selects different stocks, EBAY would change to the other stock selected).
2. I also have the hyperlink function concatenated to this statement above in #1 but it's not working for some reason.
I have a file attached. See cell R66 in yellow. This is where my formula is. The formula picks up the stock ticker selected from cell C4 on the 'Metrics' tab.
I can get this to work if I removed the concatenated text and leave in the hyperlink function. It's as if the Hyperlink function is rendered useless when concatenated.
Ignore the hyperlink in cell R67.
