Can I save a complex and long formula and use in differnt WS

Dear All,


I have a very complex and long formula in WS1, is there a way I can save this formula using Name or macro and use in WS2.

You could write a UDF to replicate your formula then store that in a Personal.xls/x file

Then the UDF will be available to all workbooks on your pc
 
I am a new xl user, so if possible pls suggest a link where i can get some tips on UDF. I tried but failed.
