Average of 1st day of week and last day of the week

Hi Expert,

I need to take the average of Average of 1st day of week and last day of the week. I have attached a sample file as well as screenshot.
Mark in red should be for 4/24/2016, blue for 5/1/2016 etc....

Any help on this greatly appreciated.

In cell J3:
=(INDEX($C$2:$C$16,MATCH(H3,$A$2:$A$16,0))+
INDEX($E$2:$E$16,MATCH(H3+0.5,$A$2:$A$16,1)))/2

Assumes that data is sorted like in example sheet.
