I live in Wellington, New Zealand. It is a beautiful, small city on the southern edge of the world. I run my own Excel Consulting & Training business from here.
I am married to my college sweet-heart, Jo. We have 2 kids – twins. They are 10 years old now. They are busy creating new worlds with lego bricks or playing or learning. We (Jo &I) are busy with cooking, eating, walking, talking and reading.

I have Excel 2016 on 365 membership. Pivot table is there in “Insert” on the menu bar but Power Pivot not showing anywhere, not on menu bar, not in COM add-ins; when I got to powerpivot.com it takes me to Business Intelligence & Analytics and talks about Power BI but nothing on power pivot. Assuming that BI includes power pivot, I couldn’t join because it wanted a work email for corporate use, not a personal email. When I found a download power pivot link, it wouldn’t install and said 2012 version not compatible (can’t remember the actual wording …).
Hi ,
I am not knowledgeable , but from what I can get off the Internet , you cannot use Power Pivot.

Power Pivot for Excel 2016 on Office 365
What versions of Office 2016 contain Power Pivot ?

OK, it seems my version of excel doesn’t have PowerPivot. This highlights another novice’s problem – I thought Power Pivot was “how to be really powerful at Pivot”; I didn’t realise that it was an actual Microsoft product. Perhaps the title of the course now needs to be clear that it is a particular product, and only available in certain versions of Excel? So, I have paid money to learn Pivot. Can my money be transferred to another course? and what is the best course of action for me to be excellent in Pivot?? Thanks
