Zebra Stripes Dont Appear Correctly When Position X Axis On Tick Marks

Hi all,


Using Excel 2007

I am attamepting to add some zebra stripes to my charts


However, they don't look quite right when I clixk on X Axis and select position axis on tick marks so that Series 1 does not appear to be floating


How can I satisfy both needs?

First of all neat looking dashboard.

Are you concerned about the Bars appearing as half width for 2004 & 2010?

If so you could add a dummy 2003 and 2011, and hide the rows that 03 and 11 are on

You need to add it for the data and the zebra bar data areas

In the data area enter the =na() value for 2003 and 2011 so that the chart doesn't show the data point

Personally I think it looks ok as it is.

I'll practice your instructions on a copy of the dashboard until I completely comprehend

and leave the original dashboard as is for now


Looking at it again, I agree, I think it looks ok.

Besides, let's me reduce the "Fiddle Factor" which is always a good thing
