Why MS Outlook does not have 'Record Macro" feature !

I stopped using Outlook several years ago but I suspect it is still there hidden away

Right Click on the QAT or menu area and customise either the Menu's or QAT
There should be a Developer Menu and inside that a Record macro Button
Click something to add it to the Menu or QAT Bar

Alternatively Alt+F8
Type a name in the Macro Name and click Create

@Hui Sir, thanks for the help, but I guess record macro facility is not available with Outlook. May be I am missing something.

Good night.

Hi,

Outlook doesn't have a macro recorder, you have to write your own VBA
code. Macros also can't be assigned to a hotkey, they can be called
from buttons you can add to a toolbar.

@Deepak , Yes you are correct. Would have been good if MS had. :(

Just out of curiosity, are Obejects, Properties, Methods and Functions more in Outlook as compared to Excel ? To me it seems so.
