Why does clicking on the undo button in worksheet1 undoes what I did in worksheet 5?

I was just in a workbook with over 10 worksheets. I wanted to undo what I last did in the first worksheet but it undid what I last did in a different worksheet that I did not want to undo. So is the undo button not specific to the worksheet you have open but is specific to the whole workbook? Thanks!

It is responsive to the entire workbook. If you changed something on Sheet 10 ... then move to Sheet 3 and click the UNDO button, it changes the last thing you did in Sheet 10.
