Visualizing available time slots based on value & resource availability

Hello All,

This is my first post so please be patient with me:

I am not a new excel user but one is passionate about Excl and have used it from day 1 after Supercalc 5.0 was overtaken by Excel.

Problem:

I have a pipeline of projects of varying security with clients assigned to them in their current status i.e. Prospecting / Feasibility / Pre Construction & Award.

What I am trying to do is visualize time slots for the projects based on a two month period from their start date. The available time slots however need to be determined if our turnover level dips beneath say £10M / month.

I want to work the turnover using an SCURVE function from their start date

But I need to splice it some way that prioritizes the projects by their security or surety of going ahead. Also then if possible try to see what resources are needed to support all of the projects via teams which will then determine if I need to bring more staff in.

Sorry its so long winded, but I just near a steer on what to use and how best to show it. I've enjoyed using pivot tables recently but I'm feeling lost on how to even start!!

A little push in the right direction would massively be appreciated.

Bigfeatures.
