Hi!

Have you tried oldchippy formula? It will return number of pad when you will enter opening and closing stock.

Can you tell what you will enter in B4:C4 and what result you expect ad in which cell. That will make your problem more clear.

Regards!

Hi Everyone
Let,s take a example to sort out this question. 1 pad= 100 Nos. I have received 500 tickets in 5 pads. Pads are reecived in improper sequesnce:-
1st Pad- 1 to 100
2nd Pad- 101 to 200
3rd pad - 201 to 300
4th pad- 501 to 600
5th Pad- 701 to 800

Actually Stock should receive from 1to 500 but due to improper sequence stock ending no have gone upto 800. I have to enter it in master stock like below
Sr no in A1
Heading Name is Starting No For B1
Heading Name is Ending No For C1

Now i will enter 1 in B2 and 300 in C2 beacuse sequence is proper till 300.
and then i will enter 501 in B3 and 600 in C3 because sequence from 601 to 700 is missed .
then again i will enter 701 in B4 and 800 in C4

After entering this stock in sheet 1, i have to issue this stock pad wise. To issue this stock i am needed each pad starting and Ending no therefore i will enter the starting and ending number of each pad in Sheet 2 manually. Now i want that Starting and Ending number of each pad should come automatically in Sheet 2 from cells B2:C4 of Sheet 1. Only those nos should come in the issued sheet which are received in the stock. Also refer the above attached file for further understanding.
