Updating data on main page

Hi,


I am looking out for ideas , how to show my data on Summary tab for that particular month.


I have 4 tabs of various function , where data is coming from sep-17 till Dec-18.


But on summary tab we clubbed this function on one sheet and want to see data for these functions for that particular month only.


Like if we select july it should only reflect july month data only for these 4 functions.


Want I was thinking to use if function and match it with cell A1 but in this case I need to use it 12 times.


Can we have another method, which could be shorter form what I am thinking.

July appears for single year, but you have other months that appears for 2017 & 18. Should it not account for that as well?

FYI - You had multiple issues in set up.

1. Different sheet range between 4 sheets.
2. Month drop down didn't match format of header month-year

etc.

Here's sample set up, that uses single formula for each set (i.e. 2 formula).

1] Some modification to the OP source tables and the A1 dropdown list.

2] In C4, copied across/down and copied to C8, then across/down.

=VLOOKUP($B4,INDIRECT("'"&C$3&"'!$B$4:$R$100"),MATCH($A$1,INDIRECT("'"&C$3&"'!$B$3:$R$3"),0),0)

p.s. it is better to modify and standardised the source tables layout rather than to create an expensive formula to suit the inconsistent layout
