Someone expert please help!!! Why i'm unable to protect some column although in the protection mode.

I'm protect worksheet but allow User to Click on "Auto Filter". This might caused the issue? Please advise and help.
Step 1: I'm click on the Protect Worksheet icon.
Step 2: Under the protect worksheet setting, i'm just allow all users of this worksheet to: "Select locked cells", "Select unlocked cells" & "Use Auto Filter"
After protected the worksheet, Column G:L which contents figures still in 'UNPROTECTED" mode!

Yes, look good for your tested file, it's work!!! How you did it, can please advise.
However, to wonder why your protected file unable to select column G:L?

Which one file or both?
Those cells which no need to affect (G:L) I keep locked, all other unlocked (default is locked).
While protecting, I allow to only 'select unlocked cells'.
Your 'why'? answer: User can see, but not touch! No need to touch everywhere!
